Sustainable Water Use at Smiths Lane
At Smiths Lane, we are proud to lead the way in sustainable water management. We’re installing a state-of-the-art Stormwater Harvesting System in our Central Wetland to irrigate all local parks, active open spaces, and main boulevards.
By capturing and reusing stormwater runoff, this system helps protect our waterways by reducing harmful flows and pollutants. It also provides a reliable, eco-friendly alternative to using drinking water for irrigation.
Once operational by year-end, the system will recycle thousands of litres of UV-treated water annually, significantly enhancing our community’s environmental sustainability.
